The Process
This is the process from beginning to end on how this magazine came to be. Please explore and see how this project came to light.
The Research
For this project we picked a character to research and bring to life. I picked Father Brown, a well known British character. Through this process, I wanted to bring forward his identity and how he isn’t taken seriously throughout the show, but he is in fact the one solving all the crime.
Typography
After collecting all the information, I began planning and designing the typographic elements.We were tasked with using texture, items and other things to create the forms.
Final Typography
These were the final words that were created in this process. Each one had pros and con's but in the end they were used the main focus of the newspaper spread.
Spread Concepts and roughs
These are all the roughs and concepts explored through spread for the piece. This was my first attempt at a newspaper spread, but it was a welcomed challenge and I’m excited to do it again.
